Parasha Beshalach tells of the escape of the Israelites from Egypt which they celebrate with Moses' Song at the Sea and Miriam's Song.

Tallit Band I
Moses divides the waters of the Red Sea.

Translation of Hebrew (Exodus 14, 16):
"Raise your staff and extend your hand over the sea. You will split the sea, and the Israelites will be able to cross over on dry land."

Tallit Band II
The prophetess Miriam, sister of Moses and Aaron, leads the dancing in celebration of the Red Sea crossing.

Translation of Hebrew (Exodus 15, 20):
"And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances."

The neckband of the tallit is decorated with the traditional blessing, hand painted with gold-outlined, crowned, Hebrew lettering.
The tallit is shown on a background of cream wool blend. The tallit tzitziot (threads) are handspun.

A matching tallit bag, tefillin bag and yarmulke are also available. The tallit bag is made of cream wool blend and has a strip of painted silk running horizontally.

The tallit and all items are handmade.

White Polyester - a light weight white crease resistant polyester.

Threads:
White - Standard white threads for the tzitziot.
Blue - Each tzitzit has three white threads and one authentic blue thread.
