Noach Tallit
Noach, who lives in a time of violence and corruption, is chosen by God to build an ark.
Animals are brought into the ark, two by two. It rains forty days and forty nights.
Band I
Noach leads horses onto the ark.
The detail of Noach is adapted from a Purim story lithograph of 18th century
French lithographer Gustave Dore.
Band II
Animals approach the ark, two by two.
The background material of this tallit is a beautiful cream wool blend. The neckband with the traditional blessing, in crowned Hebrew lettering outlined in gold, is introduced by a dove holding an olive branch it has brought back to show Noach it has found dry land.
A matching tallit bag, teffilin bag and kippah are also available. The tallit bag is made of cream wool blend and has a strip of painted silk running horizontally.
The tallit tzitziot (threads) are handspun.
The tallit and all items are handmade.
